Karen Mattimore

Senior Advisor, Honeywell Technologies

After more than 21 years with Honeywell, including six years as Chief Human Resources Officer, Karen has transitioned to the Senior Advisor role to support Honeywell Technologies.

Karen has helped lead the transformation of HR into a more strategic, process-driven function closely connected to business outcomes. She played a critical role in shaping the organizations and leadership teams supporting Honeywell Aerospace, Solstice Advanced Materials and Honeywell Technologies, positioning each to operate independently and successfully.

Prior to this position, Karen served as Vice President, Human Resources and Communications, for Honeywell’s Aerospace business group. Before that, she served as Vice President, Human Resources Services, a global shared services and compensation and benefits administration organization. Karen also served as Vice President, Human Resources, for Aerospace’s Defense and Space unit before becoming Vice President, Human Resources, for Aerospace Engineering and Technology.

Prior to joining Honeywell in 2004, Karen held Human Resources leadership positions at Motorola and Nationwide Insurance Company. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Toledo, a master’s degree in management from the Sloan Program at Stanford University and a master’s degree and a doctorate in industrial psychology from Bowling Green State University.
