Senior Vice President, Mergers and Acquisitions

Jimmy Steinberg is Senior Vice President, Mergers and Acquisitions.

Appointed in November 2021, Jimmy has responsibility for all corporate transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, spin-offs, joint ventures, minority investments, venture investments and other strategic transactions. Under Jimmy’s leadership, Honeywell has successfully announced 11 acquisitions representing approximately $14 billion of capital deployment, completed three large-scale carve-out divestitures representing approximately $3 billion in revenue, spun-off Honeywell Aerospace and Solstice representing approximately $23 billion in revenue, and completed the initial public offering of Quantinuum at a valuation of approximately $16.5 billion.

Prior to joining Honeywell, Jimmy was the SVP, Corporate Development at Cardinal Health, where he led global M&A efforts for the healthcare products and services company.  Prior to joining Cardinal Health, Jimmy held corporate development leadership roles at both Danaher Corporation and Dover Corporation, and worked in investment banking at Lehman Brothers/Barclays Capital.

Jimmy earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Accounting from Miami University and his Master of Accounting from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
