Billal M. Hammoud

Billal Hammoud is President and CEO of Building Automation (BA) at Honeywell Technologies. Since joining Honeywell in 2021, he has helped advance the company’s building technologies portfolio and now leads a global business that creates products, software and technologies found in more than 10 million buildings worldwide. This helps customers keep facilities safe, energy efficient, sustainable and productive while accelerating the shift toward more connected and autonomous buildings.

Before assuming his current role, Billal served as President and General Manager of Smart Energy and Thermal Solutions (SETS) for Honeywell Performance Materials and Technologies (PMT), where he led a portfolio focused on energy management, electrification and thermal solutions. Prior to that, he held senior leadership roles including Vice President and General Manager of Thermal Solutions and Vice President and General Manager of Combustion Controls, building a strong track record of driving growth, operational performance and customer-focused innovation across industrial and energy-related markets.

Outside of Honeywell, Billal held a range of business, sales, program management and engineering leadership roles, most recently serving as president of ESAB Americas and Global Fabrication Solutions at Colfax. Across these positions, he developed broad experience leading global teams, scaling commercial and operational capabilities and translating complex customer needs into differentiated solutions.

Billal holds a Master of Business Administration degree and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Wayne State University in Michigan, USA.
